As daughters of Africa, we believed in and work toward African women’s empowerment and self-determination. We believed that it was incumbent upon us to improve our lives and strengthen our countries without dependency upon the government.
Entrepreneurship is the fastest and most sustainable means to achieving this independence. As female business owners, we recognize that women who work, whether self-employed or in another occupation, contribute significantly to their family and community’s elevation.
Our driving passion has been to lift the next generation of women seeking to forge their legacies and climb the ladder of success in their chosen fields. As a seasoned professionals, and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), we know the importance of appearance.

Ms. Beatrice Ngwenya, AHC’s marketing director, is passionate about gender equality, both as a social right, and as a development goal in its own right. Greater equality in rights is systematically and consistently associated with greater gender equality. It is imperative that women can equally participate productively in society and attain a high quality of life, by taking advantage of new opportunities that development affords.
Mrs. Ngwenya and Mrs. Nahmias noticed a complete lack of quality hair available for professional women and those seeking weaves or wigs for special occasions. To meet this need, they started America Hair Care, a subsidiary of Nahmias Joint Ventures, Pvt. Ltd.
Mrs. Ngwenya is based full-time in Zimbabwe. Ms. Nahmias, the managing director, travels between the United States and Zimbabwe, maintaining a residence in both. We are African sisters who realized the great need to supply 100% high-quality human hair for weaves and wigs to meet every woman’s requirements at affordable prices.
